Who we are
Education For Employment-Egypt (EFE-Egypt)is an Egyptian NGO that seeks to bridge the gap between youth and the private sectors, since 2008, through market-driven educational programs connected to decent job opportunities that abide by the Egyptian labor law.
EFE-Egypt, an independent non-profit under the EFE Network, is registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity (#783). It develops market-driven training programs to bridge skill gaps and enhance youth employability. Each year, EFE-Egypt conducts a labor market analysis to tailor its programs, focusing on unemployed underprivileged youth under 30.
What we strive for?
With Egypt’s youth population growing rapidly, the job market is evolving. Employers seek skilled talent, yet young job seekers often struggle to connect with the right opportunities. Many are unaware of the full range of career paths available, while traditional education doesn’t always align with market needs. At EFE-Egypt, we see this not as a challenge, but as an opportunity—to bridge the gap, equip youth with in-demand skills, and empower them to thrive in the workforce.

EFE's US offices are based in Washington D.C. and manage opportunities in North America. From US government agencies to corporations, and U.S.- based donors and funders we work closely with partners to further our mission. Education For Employment is a registered 501(c) non-profit in the U.S.
The EFE-Europe office is located in Madrid and serves as a thriving hub for advancing opportunities across the EU. Collaborating closely with governmental entities, EU donor agencies, and corporations, EFE-Europe is responsible for furthering our mission by leveraging European partnerships.
Strategically located in Dubai, our UAE hub office acts as a dynamic center for fostering opportunities within the region, working with regional corporations and global companies to advance EFE's mission across the MENA region.
