Shahira Zeid is Chairman of MZ Investments, which is a holding company for several entities in the fields of Petroleum and Marine Services, Tourism and Hotels, Inland transport/ freight forwarding.  Ms. Zeid is also Vice Chairman of Maridive Group.
Ms. Zeid graduated from the American University in Cairo in 1982 with a BA in Business Administration and she strongly believes that tourism is a major growth area for Egypt and could provide an answer to many education and employment problems.

Forbes Magazine ranked Shahira Zeid among the 50 most influential Arab women in 2008. Also, in 2014, Forbes Middle East selected Ms. Zeid # 22 of the 200 Most Powerful Women in the Middle East.  Ms. Zeid is a board Member of Egypt’s International Economic Forum (EIEF) and its affiliate the Arab Global Forum, and head of the Forum’s Woman’s Strategy Group.   She is also a board Member of the Egyptian Food Bank and a participating Member of the Arab International Women’s Forum.
