Job Placment Training (JPTP)
One of EFE-Egypt’s flagship programs, the Job Placement Training Program (JPTP) is implemented targeting unemployed youth who have graduated from a higher education institute. The beneficiaries undergo extensive job-readiness training. This is an intensive 160 hour program, taking place from 9 am to 5 pm, over the course of four working weeks. The program is designed to simulate working environments and requires our beneficiaries to commit as they would commit to an employer, including adhering to a professional dress code. The curriculum and in-training activities are designed based on the job the beneficiaries are being prepared for, usually either white collar or blue collar.
In addition to the standard JPTP program, EFE-Egypt may tailor technical components according to donor or employer requirements. Examples of such technical components are Financial Literacy for Emirates NBD (donor), Graphic Design for IDRC (donor), Digital Marketing for Google (donor), and Retail for Majid Al Futtaim (employer).
