ARTC Partners

Funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of the Swiss Confederation, ARTC is implemented by Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) and run by EFE-Egypt at City Centre Almaza.

People 1st International has managed the development, implementation and evaluation process of ARTC on behalf of EBRD, ensuring it meets the objectives of the project funding to train individuals and ensure inclusivity into gainful employment. Alongside supporting MAF in the procurement of EFE-Egypt and inclusivity experts, Helm, People 1st International has also developed the training programs and trained trainers within EFE-Egypt to upskill them to deliver skills training that meets the needs of employers.

As the accessibility partner on this project, Helm has helped ensure that ARTC will be sustainably accessible. This was achieved through various assessments, training and certifications in accordance to the global standards of accessibility and inclusion. As a result, the staff will be able to hire inclusively, maintain a physically and socially accessible facility and educate inclusively as well as certifying others to teach inclusively.
