Nora Toma has more than 19 years of experience in corporates and nonprofit organizations in areas of finance, strategy, auditing and internal controls.
Nora joined Education for Employment-Egypt (EFE-Egypt) in 2019 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer to provide support to the CEO in a phase where EFE-Egypt is growing in size and expanding in cooperation. She provides support in overall leadership and oversees key projects and initiatives in their startup phases.
Prior to EFE-Egypt, Nora held executive positions in strategy, investment and finance in operating companies and investment vehicles, with exposure extending from Egypt to Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to that, Nora served as middle management in finance and other support functions, growing into that from a ten-year career in auditing and accounting.
In addition to her corporate experience, Nora was that finance officer of Save the Children UK and Finance Manager of Save the Children International from 2011 to 2012, with four years of her auditing experience being in projects funded by the European Union (EU), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and other donor organizations.
Nora is trained as a trainer and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cairo University.
