Partnerships and Job Placement Officer, EFE-Egypt
Mahmoud Hussein has more than 4 years of experience in the local and international NGOs working in the development field, which got him a comprehensive understanding of the TVET System, labor market information system, and youth empowerment through training and employment.
Mahmoud joined Education For Employment – Egypt (EFE-Egypt) in February 2020 as a Programs Associate and got promoted in 2022 to a Partnerships and Job Placement Officer at the Partnerships and Job Placement Department. He is responsible with his team for having partnerships for EFE-Egypt with different entities and outreach the employers and engaging with them to support the employment of EFE-Egypt’s graduates.
Mahmoud has worked at one of the nonprofit organizations that represent the private sector in the Dual Education System. In addition, he got an internship opportunity at GIZ-Egypt’s Employment Promotion Project – EPP II. Also, He was directly involved in talks and activities with different donors like USAID, GIZ, EU, and other important stakeholders from the private and public sectors.
Mahmoud has studied a Human Resource Management Diploma at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, a Certificate on the Professionals Key Performance Indicators KPIs from the Egyptian Institute of Directors, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ain Shams University.
